YFNP-2001 halogen-free flame retardant is an environmental friendly polyolefin flame retardant with phosphorus and nitrogen as flame retardant elements. It is specially designed for various flame retardant polypropylene products, and can also be used for other polyolefin flame retardant products. Yfnp2001 contains acid source, gas source and carbon source. It plays a flame retardant role with the mechanism of carbon formation and expansion. Flame retardant PP with yfnp2001 can reach ul94-v0 (1.5mm) and pass 70 ºC × 168 hour immersion test (ul746c) and GWIT 750 ºC and gwfi 960 ºC glow wire test; and it is not subject to the directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment adopted by the European Union and its Council 2002 / 95 / EC Restrictions on; Features: it has the characteristics of low density of flame retardant products, low smoke and low mold corrosion; Yfnp2001 has no water slip in the extrusion process of polypropylene and slight water slip in the extrusion process of polyethylene; YFNP-2001 does not contain anti dripping agents.

,Usage and dosage

Processing precautions:
(1) The thermal decomposition temperature of yfnp2001 in nitrogen is 250 ºC. Therefore, the processing temperature of twin-screw can be adjusted according to specific conditions. It is suggested that the processing temperature of twin-screw should not be too high on the premise of ensuring the dispersion and uniform blending of flame retardant, so as to avoid slight foaming caused by a small amount of decomposition of flame retardant. Do not add screen in the process of extrusion, otherwise it is easy to conduct Foaming phenomenon. At the same time, a certain vacuum must be maintained in the process of twin-screw extrusion.
(2) Select the resin with appropriate melt index to facilitate extrusion and injection molding.
(3) Substances in the system that have adverse effects on flame retardancy: CL containing toner such as phthalocyanine green will lead to flame retardancy failure. When the amount of carbon black is greater than 0.5%, the flame retardancy will decline. Inorganic fillers (calcium carbonate, talc powder, barium sulfate, etc.) will affect flame retardancy, and mixing additives containing BR and Cl will lead to flame retardant failure.
